I received admission to the University of Bridgeport on October 23, but I am still waiting for my I-20 as of today, November 24. It has been over a month, and despite submitting my bank statements multiple times and emailing the admissions office frequently, I have not received any confirmation or update. My reference ID is 1283847. The delay in processing is making it difficult for me to proceed with my visa application, and I kindly request that my I-20 be issued on an urgent basis. The admissions process seems quite slow, and I hope the university improves its efficiency to provide a better experience for future applicants.

I attended this university (ELI) about 15-20 years ago. I had never broken a window in the party room of the dormitory where I used to lived, but I was forced to pay for the glass in the window that someone had cracked when they were drunk. I could not accept this decision and went to protest, but principal (at the time) did not accept it,so I moved to a different school. The teachers were unique and interesting.

I don’t know why UB is taking so much time to generate my i-20 its been 2 months while Im waiting for their response but they haven’t reached me out till now. I had submitted them my bank statement 2 times but they didn’t respond whats the problem for taking too much time to give me a confirmation. I think their admission faculty is way slow to check applicants Documents.

I graduated in 2016 from UB with a Master of Science in counseling. I had the best professors who were supportive and provided guidance with every step of my journey. My daughter recently graduated with her Masters in Criminal Justice and my youngest son is now in his second year. Purple Knights to the world! I would recommend UB to anyone seeking higher education.

No response from University as I have applied for long time,I have been waiting for this I hope this may be the slowest University in the USA in terms of process. It's been 2 months since applied to get i-20 though no any update mail that University has received my documents and fees as deposit. As visa dates will not be available and I have to differ my intake from jan24 to another It will be loss my career and opportunities.

Since coming to UB as a transfer, I honestly really love it. My major is International Political Economy and Diplomacy, and in every class there always many international students, which creates a rich environment for discussion. I can personally attest that the professors are extremely helpful and because the school is so small there is plenty of one on one interaction. Even though this is my first semester I already feel extremely connected with the school. A huge focus the professors harp on is future careers, and we get plenty of advice on resumes and interviews and such. I'm honestly proud to be at this school and am very happy with my decision.

STAY AWAY from the education masters-internship program. If you get dismissed from the internship placement school unfairly, you will have no rights. They will either tell you the matter is closed, or when you start mentioning your “rights” they will set up “an appeal meeting” just to have it on the record. You will be switched to a traditional student which makes the tuition way more expensive, or you will have to pay for a percentage for late withdrawal from the program, up to 100% of the tuition. The UCONN program is 11 months (masters + certificate) compared to the 15 months at University of Bridgeport, and is the same price! UCONN is a top school, meanwhile the University of Bridgeport is 300 something on the rating list. Do not get scammed from this program. You will be stonewalled by the clique that exists in the faculty and the faculty barely do their jobs.

The University of Bridgeport has been nothing but helpful from day one. When I applied to UB, it was two weeks before the Fall 2012 semester and I was freaking out about how late I applied. My admissions counselor got all my paperwork together and I was accepted very quickly. I came to the campus and took a campus tour. I was amazed with how nice a kind my tour guide was. She really made my first impression a positive one. I am now currently a senior now and I am extremely proud of my growth and accomplishments that UB has provided me with. The professors are extremely helpful and are willing to work with you, which is something that I love most of all.
